About talent development

In recent years, there has been much more attention paid to talent development, which is important to Maxlead too. We want our employees to continue to develop their skills and knowledge to get the best out of themselves and to grow within our organization. We try to accomplish this through training, coaching, academies, knowledge sessions and other learning activities. We think this is important because it allows for personal growth, better performance, and it helps our organization stay competitive and successful in an ever-changing world.

New colleagues are given a mentor; a colleague from the same field who has a lot of experience. The mentor shares their knowledge, but also ensures that the new employee quickly feels at home and gets to know the culture and colleagues in the organization. The teams and MT are also involved in the onboarding of new colleagues.

In today's tight and dynamic job market, it is very important to invest in employee development. The HR team at Abovo Maxlead has made a strong commitment to this in recent years, and this has not gone unnoticed. Talent Motivation Analysis

Maxlead uses the Talent Motivation Analysis (TMA) during the recruitment and selection process and for the personal development of employees. This analysis, based on Positive Psychology, provides insight into personal needs, talents and competencies of candidates and/or employees.

Personal development and advancement opportunities

We have a clear structure of conversations to encourage talent development. These conversations take place with the manager. Within our organization there is plenty of room for advancement opportunities. Starters can grow from trainee to junior, medior and senior positions, but also experienced specialists are never outgrown with us. This way we give everyone room to grow within their own discipline or beyond.

In it, the goals for the coming year are set together with the manager.
1-on-1 conversations
With the immediate supervisor to discuss progress.
Interim evaluation interview
Every six months, a meeting is scheduled to discuss the employee's development. This consists of a moment of reflection on one's own functioning, the goals set in the development plan and looking ahead to the next six months.
End-of-year evaluation
At the end of the year, a time is scheduled to reflect on the performance of the past year.

Training & knowledge sessions

Within our organization, various trainings are organized based on personal needs and the needs of a team. Internal trainings, given by experienced colleagues, as well as trainings by external trainers, which are customized.

In addition to the training sessions, knowledge sessions are regularly organized in the teams and for all employees. These cover trends and developments in the various disciplines, as well as successful customer cases.

Vitality

The health of our colleagues is our top priority. This is why we invest in many different services to keep our colleagues as fit and vital as possible. Both physically and mentally. We offer the following:

  • Coaching: there are coaches associated with our organization who are available to all employees within our organization.
  • OpenUp: a platform where anyone can anonymously go for a conversation with a trained psychologist. In addition to conversations with a psychologist, OpenUp also offers Mindfulness training and sessions. They also offer advice to management on preventing work-related stress.
  • Meditation Moments: colleagues can use this app to meditate, do yoga exercises and follow flow sessions.
  • Basic-Fit: every employee gets a 50% discount on a gym membership at Basic Fit.
  • Bootcamp: employees can participate in a weekly bootcamp led by a personal trainer.
  • Chair massages: regular chair massages are offered, given by a professional masseur.
  • Bike lease plan: together with Lease a Bike, we offer the opportunity to choose a company bicycle.
  • Catered lunch and fresh fruit: there is a catered lunch and fresh fruit in the office every day!
